Following a three-month induction period, Mr. Walter Kunz became the new managing director at eps GmbH's German office in Hardt on 1 October. The successor to company founder Bernhard Moosmann is now responsible for the handling systems sector within the Afag group.
"I am very happy with the successful integration of eps GmbH within the Afag group, and also with my highly competent successor", announced Bernhard Moosmann during the handover ceremony at the beginning of October. At the end of this year, Mr. Moosmann will take his well-deserved retirement following more than 20 years at the company.
The new managing director, Mr. Kunz, is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, mountain and racing bike riding as well as looking after his house and garden. He started his career in the services sector of a large company, which enabled him to gain initial international experience. Additional positions as production manager (15 years) and plant manager (4 years) followed. During this time, Mr. Kunz was responsible for the development of various production facilities in the USA and Asia.
The Afag group is looking forward to a trusting and successful partnership, and wishes Mr. Kunz the very best of luck in his highly responsible new role.
